"Lazervision" is the first full-length album from Adi Dick's new side-project - AD90. Inspired by the instrumental hip hop production, sampling and audio collage of some of his earliest musical heroes, "Lazervision" is the first taste of things to come.

"Lazervision" is trip down memory lane, a beat tape inspired by the rise and fall of the music and video formats of years gone by. Our obsession with "new", "better" and "all you'll ever need", overshadowed by obsolescence.

"The music? Imagine decades of studying the beat-making pioneers from DJ Shadow, Madlib, J DIlla, Prefuse 73 to the newer generations, Flying Lotus, Ras G (R.I.P.), Dibiase, and Knxwledge. Working for years in record stores, surrounded by dusty samples and album cover artwork, and years spent exploring the beat-making tools of the trade. It's a boom-bap inspired beat tape that celebrates creativity, represents the thousands of records that I have bought and sampled over the years and is an ode to these beautiful obsolete things, and this music, that will always have a home in my studio!"
